This workshop, which is for performers of all kinds, explores getting ready to be alive on stage. You will learn warm up techniques for your mind, body and voice, then finish with some unique acting exercises to open your mind. This practice will prepare us to do our best work, no matter the medium. "Give me six hours to chop down a tree, I will spend the first four sharpening the axe." - Abraham Lincoln.

Samantha Beedle is a Lehigh Valley performer who received her BFA in Theatre Performance from Montclair State University. She has worked in professional theatre such as; Roanoke Historic Society NC, Park Players of Parimount Theatre, NJ. Luna Stage in Montclair NJ. Sam has recently becoming an ensemble member of Lehigh Valley's Touchstone Theatre. She has trained with UCB You can also find her preforming improv on teams; Cat Sweaters, Synched Up, Period Drama and Too Many Chefs. Aside from the stage she has also sat on the board of directors and created programming for Allentown Public Theatre, created LV Drink'n'Draw, Booty Battle; A dance battle for the booty and co-writes her own sketch style show, Sam Beedle's Magical Happy Hour.
Students must be 18 or older at the time of the workshop. Workshop durations are approximate and may go longer or shorter based on the amount of students enrolled.
